Recently, following expert review, our college has been officially approved as an implementing unit for the third batch of the "Belt and Road" Vocational Education "Double Hundred Plan," with the Nursing program selected as the specialized field for project development. This marks a solid step forward in our university's internationalization of vocational education
The "Belt and Road" Vocational Education "Double Hundred Plan" is a major initiative guided by relevant departments of the Ministry of Education and organized by institutions such as the Chinese Society for Technical and Vocational Education. The program aims to promote the global outreach of China's vocational education and meet the talent cultivation needs of countries along the "Belt and Road." The approval of this project fully recognizes our college's strengths in nursing education, its foundation for international cooperation, and its capacity for project planning.

During the cooperation program application process, our college successfully completed a project defense, presenting on topics including the college's institutional profile, distinctive features of the Nursing program, international cooperation foundation, construction goals and plans, and supporting mechanisms. As the core program of the School of International Health in our college, the Nursing program has already established a Sino-foreign cooperative education partnership with Lincoln University College in Malaysia, and enjoys robust international teaching conditions, practical training facilities, and faculty resources.
Under the current plan, the college will leverage the Nursing program to advance the construction of the "One Workshop, Three Centers" initiative in Laos. This includes the International Nursing Practice Workshop, an International Practical Training and Teaching Center, an International Nursing Faculty Training Center, and an Overseas Joint Education Center. In parallel, the college will develop international teaching standards and core curriculum resources for nursing, provide "Chinese + Nursing Skills" training, and establish a replicable and scalable model for international exchange and cooperation in vocational education.
The college has announced that it will establish a dedicated task force to coordinate project implementation and strengthen support mechanisms in terms of faculty, systems, and funding to ensure high-quality project delivery. Looking ahead, the college will continue to deepen vocational education cooperation with countries along the "Belt and Road," promote the internationalization of Chinese nursing education standards and technical skills, and contribute to national strategies and regional development.

Our college will take this opportunity to further enhance the international profile of its vocational education, strive to build a distinctive "Chinese + Nursing Skills" brand, and cultivate more highly skilled talents for countries along the "Belt and Road."
